Solid Radial Ball Bearing Puller designed to efficiently extract Gear Box Solid Radial Ball Bearings from input shaft, output shaft, etc., found on every European and most Asian models. Collets# 242-A through 242-I slip over and grab onto the inner race of the bearing. Then, 242-Body threads onto the collet and with its left hand threaded constricting sleeve, compresses the collet onto the inner race of the ball bearing for a No-Slip, Firm Grip. At this point, extracting the bearing from the gear box is achieved by simply turning the long center bolt of the 242-Body, which uses the transmission shaft for its pushing surface. Use Extension Tube# 242-5 for extracting ball bearings which are pressed onto long protruding transmission shafts. An application chart is available upon request. Sir Tool 242
